if miss thing would have arrived as scheduled, this would've been on our door at the hospital! just one thing on my long to-do list that didn't get done;) anyway, it's on her door now. still trying to finish her nursery in all my "spare" time...

my two year old recently graduated to a big boy bed, so it was time to do a few updates for his room. i FINALLY retired the diaper wreath from his door and replaced it with this;) 8x10 canvas board...$35.

a good friend of mine had this idea for a baby gift...and i absolutely love how it turned out! she placed her order months ago, and we've just been waiting on the baby to arrive so we could fill in the stats...congrats to the new family of three!
thank you isn't enough...
when i first decided to start this little business in july 2008, i wasn't sure that i'd ever get even one order...at least that wasn't from a friend;) the agency that i was doing freelance graphic design for at the time had to do some major cutbacks...and i had to figure out a way to contribute to our income in a way that would let me continue to work from home. God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. not only do i get to stay at home with my kiddos, but this job is my creative outlet, which i so enjoy. and i have met so many amazing people along the way. i know many of you who follow this blog found me through kelly's korner. business was good before she posted harper's blessing ring on her blog...but business has been booming ever since. wow...i can hardly keep up! her ministry and generosity has blessed me and my family beyond measure, and i am eternally grateful;) thank you isn't enough, sweet blogger friend!
my latest project...
so sorry for my recent blog absence, but i think i have a pretty good excuse! introducing emma kate...arrived at 1:07 a.m on 10.3! i was scheduled for a repeat c-section on 10.12, but baby girl had other plans;) i predicted she would arrive early, but not THAT early (my actual due date wasn't until 10.18). i had a feeling arriving as planned wouldn't be enough of an "entrance" for this little drama queen, and boy was i right...we were caught totally off guard! we are so blessed to welcome this little angel to our family, and can you tell that her big brother absolutely LOVES her?!! he is so sweet with her...we'll enjoy it while it lasts!

one of my very best customers;) ordered these for her three kiddos. these photos aren't great, but the frames are brown with cream ribbon and lettering. (please note that i don't offer white or cream lettering unless it is very minimal like this for various reasons.) hope you love them, r!

a friend ordered these as a gift for baby cole...his nursery is done in safari prints, etc...so sweet. i think these would also look great done with a last name as a gift for adults...don't you?!!
